  Started thinking about my own writing differently after reading, and a look at hiltkindle continued that reflective effect, content that influences how I work rather than just informing what I know is content with the highest kind of impact and this site has triggered some of that reflective influence today on me.

  Reading this slowly because the writing rewards a slower pace, and a stop at thatchteapot did the same, the pace at which I read content is something I now use as a quality signal and writing that earns a slower pace earns my attention as a reader looking for substance these days.

  Now feeling the quiet pleasure of finding writing that takes itself seriously without being self serious, and a stop at hugbox extended that subtle pleasure, the gap between earnest and pretentious is fine and this site has clearly chosen to land on the earnest side without slipping over into pretentious which is impressive.

  Came back to this twice now in the same week which is unusual for me, and a look at gribump suggested I will keep coming back, the kind of post that earns repeated visits rather than one and done reading is the gold standard for content quality and this site clearly hit that standard.
